An exceptional Victorian Etruscan Revival necklace, crafted in rich 18ct yellow gold and set with beautiful cabochon malachite drops and irregular natural pearls. This style became hugely popular during the mid-Victorian era, inspired by newly discovered ancient treasures of the time. Victorian jewellers adored the bold, ornate look of ancient Etruscan pieces and revived the style with their own incredible craftsmanship.
This necklace has been professionally rethreaded with care, with every malachite drop and every pearl returned to its original configuration. It’s offered in wonderful pre-loved condition, a rare surviving example of one of the most sought-after Victorian revival aesthetics.
