Large Antique Solid Silver Congregation of the Child of Mary Pendant on Chain

This impressive antique pendant, dating c.1930s, is crafted in solid silver and represents the Congregation of the Child of Mary, a devotional society with deep roots in Catholic tradition. The front depicts the Virgin Mary in flowing robes, radiating grace and protection, surrounded by raised Latin script.
 
The reverse is equally beautiful, engraved with “Congregation of the Children of Mary” encircling a radiant sacred symbol and floral details. At the centre sits a blank cartouche, traditionally left to be engraved with the wearer’s initials or dedication, giving the medal a deeply personal significance.
