Dating to 1975, this incredible vintage ring is crafted in 9ct yellow gold and set with a spectacular blue topaz measuring approximately 17mm in diameter. With its icy blue colour and extraordinary faceted cut, the stone catches the light from every angle, creating the most beautiful almost starburst-like effect.

The topaz is held within an elegant high-set claw setting, allowing plenty of light to enter the stone and really show off that incredible cut. Viewed from the side, the tall open gallery is just as striking, with sweeping gold claws rising dramatically around the gemstone.

And at 17mm across, this is no dainty little ring. The topaz has fabulous finger coverage and makes a serious statement, while the simple yellow gold band keeps all of the attention exactly where it should be - on that amazing blue stone.
