A gorgeous piece of antique old gold, dating all the way back to 1915.

Crafted in rich 18ct yellow gold, this beautiful gypsy ring has a wonderfully smooth, softly domed band, set at its centre is a single old cut diamond nestled within an engraved starburst setting.

The substantial polished gold gives it such a lovely presence on the hand, while the old cut diamond adds just the right amount of antique sparkle. Its low-profile setting also makes it incredibly easy and comfortable to wear, it's the kind of ring that could quite happily become an everyday favourite.

The antique gold ring has recently been professionally cleaned and polished, bringing back the beautiful warmth and lustre of the 18ct gold whilst retaining all the charm and character you would expect from an antique piece.

You can see the back of the diamond through a small opening inside the band which a lovely reminder of the traditional construction of these old pieces.

Fully hallmarked for 18ct gold, with London assay marks dating the ring to 1915, it is now over 110 years old and has survived beautifully.

Weighing 4.27g and currently a UK size O, it feels reassuringly substantial without being overly heavy and bulky.

CONDITION: Excellent Antique Condition - In lovely antique condition and recently professionally cleaned and polished, giving the 18ct gold a beautiful bright finish. There remain some light surface scratches, small marks and gentle signs of wear consistent with its age and over 110 years of history. The engraved starburst surrounding the diamond remains beautifully defined, while the old cut diamond presents beautifully within its setting, retaining the individual character and sparkle associated with an antique hand-cut stone. Any remaining age-related marks and imperfections form part of the history and character of this wonderful antique piece.
